Following the success of the popular 1.5L pack size launch, the Fruitree range just got even bigger by introducing yet another refreshingly delicious flavour to the existing three thirst-quenching tastes. In addition, all four have undergone a full makeover and are now available in bold, eye-catching packs that will be sure to catch everyone’s attention!
Perfect for the whole family, new Mango Pine joins the Tropical, Mediterranean and Apple flavours, adding even more variety to South Africa’s favourite fruit nectars. All four preservative-free flavours are available in the giant 1.5L Tetra Brik Slim packs and although the pack and range have increased in size, the price is exceedingly affordable.“ The new 1.5L range from Fruitree gives consumers what they want – a fruit nectar that is big on taste, but is still great value for money,” says Nathi Myeza, the Fruitree Brand Manager.
The highly popular Fruitree 1L fruit juice recipe has been used to create the new range of nectars, and with a shelf life of up to 12 months, the four thirst-quenching flavours can be kept fresher for longer in their specially designed pack. The newly renovated pack also boasts the clever twist-off SlimCap closure to ensure they are completely resealable, allowing for horizontal storage in the fridge without any chance of leakage.

Grapes are a good source of potassium, but otherwise provide few vitamins and minerals. Nevertheless, red grapes are high in bioflavonoids – antioxidants that are thought to neutralise free radicals – so they may help to prevent the body against cancer and heart disease. The benefits of red grape juice can be enjoyed by drinking Fruitree Red Grape nectar. |

Next time try pouring a little Fruitree Guava over your fruit salad to add an interesting tropical twist!

Marula fruits fall to the ground when still green, where they ripen to a yellow colour. Each tree bears thousands of fruits, which are collected and eaten by both humans and animals. The outer flesh is rich in vitamin C, while the large hard nut on the inside, reveals an oily flesh rich in protein. Fruitree combined the delicate flavour of this fruit with the sweet, juicy character of pineapple juice to formulate Fruitree Marula Pine.

More than any other fruit, the orange is associated with it valued for its high level of vitamin C. It was, however, not until the seafaring voyages of Columbus that the nutritional value of citrus fruit was realised in preventing scurvy. Today, oranges are one of the world’s most recognised fruits. Fruitree utilises this amasing fruit in various flavours i.e. Orange, Peach and Tropical. |

Pears provide a quick and convenient source of energy and are used as a weaning food due to the fact that it is among the least allergic foods. Interesting, it can be picked from the tree when still green and will attain their ripe texture and flavour later. The colour, taste and texture is well utilised in Fruitree Peach Pear, Pear Apricot and Mediterranean. |

The sweet and succulent juice of the pineapple is well utilised in Fruitree Tropical and Marula Pine. Fresh fruit contains an enzyme called bromelain, which break down proteins and is thus used as a meat tenderiser. Did you know that pineapples do not ripen further after they have been picked and they are an excellent source of vitamin C? |
